"Judge Vance has served as a civil circuit judge for Jefferson County since October of 2002. Prior to this, Judge Vance practiced law with the Birmingham firm of Johnston, Barton, Proctor, & Powell, L.L.P. and clerked for Hon. Tom McGee on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. The League of Women Voters of Greater Birmingham is pleased to announce that The Honorable Robert S. Vance, Jr., Circuit Court Judge in the Civil Division of the 10th Judicial Circuit (Jefferson County), will be the guest speaker at this year's LWVGB Holiday Luncheon.
